Well yesterday Big Blue, who has not been feeling well, bit the dust.
My coveted laptop stopped booting because of hard disk errors and could
not be saved by my IT department. He is off getting a new hard drive
and the shift key fixed. They say I should have the new blue by next
week!

Check this out. It is a
QuickTime video that you can click on. Adrian Miles uses something
called Sprite Tracks. This is essentially layering video on top each
other and making some of the layers transparent and interactive. Davin
says you can also do this by using Flash as a QuickTime overlay.
Something to look into.
Cool new software.

I contacted Nancy Carlson, the TCOM chair, about assistantships for the
fall but there were none. I think I will probably be busy enough
already. I also asked her about contacting Dr. Chesebro who will be
teaching my 601 class.
Today, I am going to start taking notes on the articles I put in my bibliography.
